Lorna Jean Bolster MA H.Dip

Psychotherapist & Holistic Consultant

Lorna Jean is deeply rooted in the health and wellness industry in Cork for 22 years in private clinical practice and in the community providing training in personal development, energy healing and meditation. Lorna Jean encompasses an eclectic approach to support individuals through times of change or difficulty with a focus on insight and personal development. Her conceptualization of health is broader than treating symptoms of dis-ease and requires consideration of mind, body and spirit.

Lorna Jean views healing as a gradual path of awareness and a return to the self and feels her role is to facilitate this journey. The foundation of her work is built on the premise that the mind, the body, and environment are inseparable and fluid. Lorna Jeans work is eclectic incorporating attachment theory, trauma-based interventions, Coaching Psychology, Deep Brain Re-Orienting (DBR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Processing, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Dream Analysis and a broad range of Energy Medicine. Lorna Jean combines all of her experience and knowledge in each session, guided gently by intuition and her clients’ needs.

Lorna Jean believes it is important to understand that the physical body is merely a reflection of our true identity and so utilizes energy healing as a way to connect with higher states of consciousness to access more understanding and healing. Lorna Jean’s passion is to create a platform and a map to learn to focus these energies in the most constructive way possible for optimum health and expansion for the individual and the community.

Lorna Jean immerses herself in nature and is deeply interested in mind-body medicine, psychology, consciousness studies, spirituality, quantum physics, and community values. Other interests include meditation, and music.
